BackPorch Banjo, from mid-Vancouver Island, weaves tales of everyday life into their joyful, foot-stomping, old-time bluegrass melodies featuring sweet vocal harmonies.


This Vancouver Island-based folk roots group is known for its rich harmonies and heartfelt original music.

Ayla Roberts is a 16-year-old singer/songwriter from Tofino who plays piano, ukulele and guitar. Her first album, released this year, features original songs about her “confusing, amazing and exciting life.”

Singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who crafts deeply personal songs that explore love, resilience and self-discovery through songs that blend folk, indie‑rock and acoustic textures. Original songs and selected covers are performed on guitar, banjo, ukulele, harmonica and stomp box.
Playing an acoustic guitar and harmonica, this singer/songwriter from Bowser entertains audiences with his original songs influenced by 60s and 70s acts like Dylan and Springsteen, and more contemporary influences like Beck, Sia, Radiohead and Wilco.

PALACE BAND AND THE VAUDEVILLE/BURLESQUE DANCERS
Be transported to the era of rum smugglers and late-night cabaret. Famous for their sold-out Errington show, 'Night at the Palace' this Route 19a Festival show is a rare opportunity to don your sequins, feathers, flapper dresses and frock coats and dance to vintage swing with a modern twist. This adults only show will feature performances by Lady Longlove, TT Partay, Lady Bird and Citrine Dream.

Sue Decker’s rich and warm voice, distinctive slide guitar playing and authentic songwriting make for a powerful combination. Ever since learning to play her first guitar chords in a bluegrass jam at the age of thirty-five, Sue has been discovering her truth in song. These days, her music inhabits the borderlands where blues, folk, country, and soul meet.
With her haunting vocals and evocative lyrics, Dana Sipos takes listeners on a deeply personal exploration, tracing the imprints of memory that form and take hold over the many lifetimes of a person, a family, the environment. Running parallel to this investigation of family histories and legacies, there are strong undercurrents of collective climate grief, the shifting faces of loss and inherited trauma echoing the ecological crises of our time.
Interpretations of traditional Irish songs, covers of contemporary Irish/ Scottish songs, as well as original music by David Somers. Sure to stir your heart and move your feet.

Four-time Juno award winner, Fred Penner, is an acclaimed family entertainer, singer/songwriter, composer, actor, writer, author and TV host who has been entertaining people for more than forty years. A gentle man with an undeniable ability to make you feel good about yourself, this musical master will delight his Fred Heads….and their children. (Tickets - Adults $20 / Children 12 and under $5)
DANCE
Enjoy the strong dance groves of this popular seven-piece band from Cumberland. Honouring the Latin traditions of Cumbia, Samba, Son Cubano and more, expect traditional, originals and deep roots. This is dancing music! Join them at 7pm for a dance lesson before the main event.

Hit the sprung dance floor for an elegant Afternoon Tea Dance, featuring live music from the Georgia Straight Big Band. This event is a charming way to celebrate arts, music, and community - perfect for those who enjoy the nostalgia of a classic tea dance with a modern Vancouver Island twist. Dress to impress. Prizes for best 1940s hats.
Eclectic duo from Qualicum Beach. Bev Finch sings, writes songs and plays guitar, while Tom Neville provides bass, acoustic and electric guitars, violin, mandolin and percussion. Fun, toe-tapping, hand-clapping, original sounds of blues-kissed folk-rock singer/songwriter.

Zonnis is a Victoria-based acoustic duo sharing original, genre-blending songs about life and current times. Their upbeat, interactive shows mix folk, rock, funk, and soul—always entertaining, heartfelt, and fun.
Vancouver Island comedian, Tamara Paulin’s charming comedy combines storytelling and offbeat humour.

CAROLYN MARK & THE NEW BEST FRIENDS
The Queen of Vancouver Island aka The Boozy Chanteuse is an award-winning world famous touring performer/singer/songwriter/comedienne. She also does yard work.

This synth-pop duo sings harmonies in English and sign language – blending their voices and stories into a sound and performance that is truly unlike any other.

From Cumberland, Amy Muloin and the Alley Flowers playing a mix of gritty and pretty, hazy-alt-folk-rock-country-blues-style original tunes featuring Amy’s soaring vocals and groovy rhythm guitar.

OLD-TIME SQUARE DANCE:
Collective of West Coast musicians who love old-time community music with its fiddles and flat-footed square dances. The no-experience-necessary dance starts with the audience learning a few simple dance moves. When the crowd yells ‘Fire in the Hole!’ the dance kicks off and it’s a hoedown!
